Steve Adams, PT
Steve has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy since graduating from Rockhurst University in 1987. Steve has a strong skill set of using manual therapy, exercise, and education to treat a variety of orthopedic injuries. He has been listed as a top physical therapist in the Northland for treating injuries due to sports, work related injuries, and accidents. Steve develops a program with each of his patients that enable them to accomplish their goals efficiently and effectively. Kathy Cummings, MHS, PT
Kathy has been a practicing orthopedic physical therapy since graduating from Rockhurst University in 1992. She has also received a post-graduate degree from the University of Indianapolis with an emphasis on orthopedic physical therapy. Kathy has vast experience on treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and injuries due to sports, work injuries, or accidents. Kathy takes pride in providing her patients with excellent customer service and helping them achieve their goals by utilizing strong hands-on manual skills, exercise, and patient education. Kathy has been with Adams Physical Rehab & Spine Center since 2006.
Zachary Sturm, PTA
Zach has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with us since graduating with an Associate degree in Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant Degree in 2014. Zach also holds an ACE Personal Fitness Training Certification, along with an Associate in Occupation Studies of Personal Training Degree. He began his career as a physical therapy assistant at Adams Physical Rehab in 2014, where he has advanced his skills by participating in a variety of continuing education courses. Zach interacts directly with a variety of patients, providing treatment to accomplish short term & long term goals through manual exercise, therapeutic exercise, motivation and education, while building strong rapport with his patients.
James Williams, PTA
James joined Adams Physical Rehab after graduating with an Associated in Applied Science Physical Therapy Assistant degree in May 2016. James has a diverse clinical background in both inpatient rehab and outpatient experience. James takes pride in using evidence based practice to provide current and effective treatment methods for her orthopedic patients. Treatments consist of patient education, manual therapy skills, exercise, and customer service that enhance the effective outcome of each physical therapy visit.
Sue Burford, Front Office Manager
Sue has been with Adams Physical Rehab since 2012. Sue is very helpful working with patients to understand their insurance benefits and making sure all precertifications and information is submitted to insurance companies efficiently and accurately. Sue will be very happy to schedule your appointments to work around your home and work schedule.
