We have developed a team of experienced therapists who promote hands on treatment, education, and overall service excellence for our clients well being. As members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Missouri Physical Therapy Association (MPTA), we are very committed to a high standard of practice to promote optimal health for our patients. Our experienced therapists attend research based educational opportunities, to enhance our treatment approach with the most up to date techniques and knowledge. Adams Physical Rehab strives to be the physical therapy provider of choice by our clients and referring physicians.
Steve Adams, PT has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy since graduating from Rockhurst University in 1987. Strong manual skills have been developed to treat patients with a variety of neck and back injuries or various orthopedic injuries due to sports, work injuries, and accidents. Steve is dedicated to treating clients from teenagers to senior citizens with emphasis on individual treatment goals accomplished through exercise, education, and hands on treatment. Prior to Adams Physical Rehab, Steve owned Boardwalk Physical Rehab in the Northland.
Kathy Cummings, MHS, PT has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since graduating from Rockhurst University in 1992. Kathy specializes in treating pre and post-op shoulder and knee injuries due to athletics, work injuries or various accidents. Kathy utilizes manual skills to resolve pain issues and promote mobility and strength in her patients. Prior to joining our clinic, Kathy successfully managed two northland clinics as the director of physical therapy.
Services offered: Neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, exercise, iontophoresis, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, work conditioning, spine rehabilitation and sports rehabilitation.
